The teacher strike on Friday and problems with the fire safety plan for 440 Albert Street have forced us to alter the way that we conduct this year's spacesim mission. As far as I understand what happened, the Fire Department had to change way in which fire safety plans are prepared and the school board naturally prioritised making these changes to the plans for regular schools. As a result the plan for 440 Albert Street was not ready yet at the time I requested the fire safety inspection and the fire department was unable to approve the overnight part of our mission.
Please have your student complete the Revised Mission information form and sign it indicating your approval of their participation in the new schedule.
Students must be picked up from 440 Albert St. at 2300 hrs (11 PM) each day.
The new schedule for the mission is as follows:
Tuesday
All students (Astronauts, Simulators, & Mission Controllers): 0700 to 2300 hrs at 440 Albert St.
Wednesday
Astronauts and Simulators: 0700 to 2300 at 440 Albert St.
Mission Contollers:
0700 to 1600 at Lisgar
1600 to 2300 at 440 Albert Street
Thursday
Astronauts and Simulators: 0700 to 2300 at 440 Albert St.
Mission Contollers:
0700 to 1600 at Lisgar
1600 to 2300 at 440 Albert Street
Saturday
All students (Astronauts, Simulators, & Mission Controllers): 0700 to 1700 hrs at 440 Albert St.
